To christians John and Pauls words hold more value, as they were con artists and decievers. Christians love to live the lie so they listen to what those two thugs say rather than pay Jesus ahem Emmanuel any mind. Also, christianity started in bloodshed so they celebrate death because the death of the world is more important to them than the life of the world.

This is a question that really every christian is accountable to share the answer.
As a christian, let me explain as much as I can to our fellow muslim. When Jesus died and taken into heaven, he instructed his apostles to wait for the counselor, this is the Holy Spirit. On the night of the Pentecost , while the disciples are praying the Holy Spirit came and baptised everyone by fire. The evidence of which is everyone has spoke in tounges, different languages that they do not even know. So when they came out speaking in tounges even the non christians at that time was amazed and thought that they are drunk. So everyone is filled by the Spirit of God( this baptism of the Holy Spirit is still believed and practice by some christianity even to this time).
Since we believe that the Spirit of God is one, this is the same Spirit that has spoken to Adam, Abraham, Isaiah and even to the disciples. This same Spirit that Christians prayed to interceed to the Heavenly Father, because this is the Counselor that took care of everyone after Jesus resurrected in Heaven, until when Jesus will return in Mount Olives.
The disciples are people whom guided by the Spirit of God to write the books, epistles, prophecies of the New Testament of the Holy Bible. So these words are not the personal word of Paul, John, Peter, Matthew, etc., but inspired by the Holy Spirit.
The death of Jesus Christ is very important to christian, because it is the promised of God has been fullfilled. Jesus has died and risen again. The death of Jesus symbolizes the sin offering of Men from the day when Adam and Eve commits mortal sin to the last day before the great throne of Judgement. Jesus as christian believed is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
It is a christian practice to reflect the teachings of Jesus and his death means the second birth of all christian believers. The second birth that is sinless, but not all christians received born twice only those who seek the Truth. Remember Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Because through the death of Jesus we all have been given the very same opportunity to obtain eternal life in the kingdom of God thorugh accepting Jesus as our savior, and repent of our sins. IF He had not done this, we all would go to hell.
The word of John and Paul are the words of their eye witness accounts of their life with Jesus. It is a testimony of their eye witness accounts of day to day lifeand experiences with Him. None of which is hear say, but acutal events by those who saw Jesus for themselves. Ate with Him, slept on the same ground as Him, prayed with Him, etc.

I've always questioned a lot of Paul's teachings. I'm not totally convinced that's what Jesus wanted.

Because perople pick and choose the doctrines and dogmas that fit their views.
In the early 20th century, for instance, activist Chrisitans focused on poverty and social justice. Today's activist Christian seem to focus more on smiting their "enemies."
