My thoughts are the same as yours. I know what you mean by churches being in the secular world. There are churches that condone gay unions and that is clearly stated in the bible as a no-no. Those churches and the churches who allow gay ministers to preach the Word of God are hypocritical and will have a rude awakening someday.
Don't believe it? check out: Galatians 5:19, Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:24-32 just to name a few.

I'm a Christian witch/Christopagan. So my answer will be a bit open in that respect. I don't see a problem with it, especially between two people who love each other. (Maybe even in a polygamous relationship outside of marriage). But with all the changes in modern life, and considering that people are getting married later; compared to the century of King James, Very few people are getting married before the age of 18. Even though at the moment it's starting to become popular to get married between 18-24 and for teens to be engaged. There's still some that won't get married until they are 30, 40, or not at all. It would be unrealistic to tell them not to have sex. It's also unrealistic to tell someone if they don't want to have babies than don't have sex. It might work for a teenager, but once that teen goes into their 20's and 30's, most often they can't wait much longer. I think that the abstience message is pushed too far on today's teens and that's why we still have huge numbers of pregnant teens, and why on the other end of the spectrum, you'll get people who wait as teens but are still waiting in their 20's and sometimes later. I once asked a question about the oldest virgin at a message board website and some people answered saying that they were 24-29 year old virgins. They knew people who were 30, 40, and even older who were still virgins. So the whole scare tactic of making people wait and preaching about the "dirtiness" of sex has made some people almost swear off of it, while others may become promiscuous or a sex addict even.

Sex outside of marriage is called fornication and it is definitely not okay, and also the marriages that have proven to last were where the two people waited until they were married until they had sex.

Sex before Marriage,
Sex with anyone other than your Spouse,
Masterbation,
Abortitave Birth Control, and artificial Birth Control,
Abortion,
All are sins according to the Catholic Church.
But there is redemption and much education and support available to young people and young married couples.
God's law does not change with the lowering morals of our society, sorry.
That is why I became Catholic last year.
Peace, and God Bless You!

You have already answered the question! It really depends on who you are and where you are in your walk with Jesus and how important your beliefs are to you. I think the Christan church and the bible is very clear on this. However, in our society it is very clear that many are not waiting till marriage to have sex.

No, absolutly NOO!!! premarital sex is forbidin by God, if you feel the need for sex rise above your primal urges and control yourself, beter yet give God control and pray for help. Patience is a vertue, wait until you are married.
(that is a collective you in case this has nothing to do with you personelly)

No to your first question.
The entire mystery of the covenantal act of a marriage has been entirely lost in our culture. It's a pity. As our society becomes colder and colder, we lose more of our spiritual flavor. We need to re-awaken a sense of mystery in our relationships, and bring back REAL courtships.

No, sex before marriage is not ok. It is fornication which is against God's law. Why did you ask a quesion and answer it for your self?

Definately a sin, but sorry it happens a lot, though. I am committed against this in my life, until I get married again.
