How is the down draft from a electric cook top stove vented.?

1. to a vent leading to the outside
2. ventless with built in filter

I dont think there is a down draft. Its usually suction to a filter (in apartments) and to the outside in a house.

1. PVC 6" OR 8" TUBE THROUGH SLAB & GROUND, THEN TURNED BACK UP TO EXIT EITHER SIDEWALL, OR ROOF!
2. VENTLESS! JUST RUN AIR THRU THE FILTER! ( NOT A GOOD PLAN)
