There is no such conflict.
Saint Nicholas (or Santa, as he gets called a lot today) was the Archbishop of Myra (a place in modern day Turkey) in the eras of Diocelatian and Constantine, and was very devoted to God. Under Diocletian, he was even jailed for his faith!
I'm sure he'd be very surprised to know he had a conflict with the God that he worshipped.

There are two points i'd like to make:
Firstly i wasn't aware that there was a conflict between God & the mythological person of Santa.
Secondy what sort of unbeliever would refer to God as evil???
