Original Sin is a man-made concept. It didn't exist before Christianity and it does not exist in Islam. Somewhere in between people came up with Original Sin, Trinity and similar man-made concepts to lead the people astray.

We Muslims believe everybody is born innocent, and if any child is to die in his/her infancy then he/she will go to Paradise 100%. Because they are pure, with no sin!

Man is the one who sins, Babies do not know the difference between right an wrong, there for have not sinned.Babies automatically go to heaven because they are innocent and have not committed there diliberate sin against God and His laws, for they do not know the difference between what is right and what is wrong yet. Once a child reaches the age of accountability, and knows what a sin is, and then deliberately goes against God, they then need to repent of their sins, and need to accept Jesus as their savior.

you see, if you read the bible or have ever heard of the creation story then that would apply it now. it is not that people got the short end of the stick .it is so that we may learn from our mistakes. for instance say you had a child and he kept playing around the stove and you told stop. he did not listen to you and got burnt. he would never do that again. Adam and eve wanted to have it all and now that they had it. they realize that that they do not want it. so god is letting us in a way see what sin is and what it can do to you. it is not his fault we are so. sorry

Babies are not born with sin. They simply have a natural propensity for selfishness. This eventually leads to sin.

"for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"
Babies are innocent untill tey reach the age of accountability. No one knows that age but God. Someone born without a sound mind will only be judged BY what they know, and only God as I have stated is their Judge. We are born with FREE WILL CHOICE, and it IS up to us to Repent, asked to be forgiven, and accept the Lord as our Saviour if we ever come to that knowledge.

If you're born into a family of sheepherders, than you're also a sheepherder, unless and until you manage to find a better way.

Jesus gave all of us a better way.

That's why God sent Jesus to die so that all of our sins, including the original sin, could be forgiven. Those who choose not to believe in God or that He in fact did send Jesus will die in all of their sins and will be sorry when Judgement Day arrives.

God, in his infinite fairness and mercy, holds us all accountable for the sins of our ancestors, regardless of the fact that we had nothing to do with it. (Original Sin is the sin commited by Adam and Eve, and all humankind is being punished for it, according to Christian doctrine) Also, once again because he is so loving, if we choose not to apologize by worshipping his son and praising his name with every thought in our heads and breath in our body, he will condem us to eternal torture.

God is so perfectly just and merciful isn't he?

Thanks Amadeus, for proving my point about how "merciful" god is.
