i need a fun food recipe for work. any easy ideas? i won'y have alot of time to prepare it. can be any type, main dish, dessert or side.

Corn & Black Bean Dip

2 cans black beans, drained and rinse
1 can white (shoepeg) corn, drained
Half cucumber, cut in tiny pieces
2 tomatoes, cubed
1 small purple onion, diced
1/3 cup fresh chopped cilantro
1 ¾ cups Ken’s Steakhouse Italian Dressing

Mix ingredients in large bowl. Pour in Italian dressing and mix well. Marinate in refrigerator overnight or at least for a few hours. Serve with Tostitos scoops.

Apple Dip

1½ (8 oz.) blocks light cream cheese
1/4 cup plus about 2 Tbsp. sugar
1/3 cup plus about 2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 bag toffee chips (Heath)

Mix and serve with gala apple slices, ginger snaps, Nilla wafers or graham crackers.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

1- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter, softened
1/2 cup chopped pecans, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

Combine all ingredients (except choc. chips) in a bowl, much like you would a cookie dough. Refrigerate for at least half an hour. Take out mixture, form into a ball, then roll it in the choc. chips. Refrigerate again until ready to serve. Serve with graham crackers, or shortbread cookies.

I like this easy to make bean dip reciepe for work potlucks.

Bean Dip

1 can of refried beans
1 package of cream cheese
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
1 jar of salsa
2 bags of corn chips

Take a cassarole dish and spread the cream cheese on the bottom. Then spread the refried beans as the next layer. Add the layer of Salsa followed by the cheese. Bake until the cheese melts and serve with chips.

This is a great dip that is easy to prepare. Everyone usually loves it. Hope you like it.

ARTICHOKE DIP



14oz can of artichoke hearts drained and chopped
1 cup of mayonnaise
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
½ tsp. garlic powder

Combine ingredients and mix well, put into a lightly greased 3 cup casserole. Bake at 350 for about 20 min. or until golden brown on the edges.

Dessert type
Fruit dip
1 8 ounce block of creamed cheese
1 regular jar marshmellow cream (I think it is 7 ounces)
about 2 tablespoons juice from maraschino cherries

Mix all together, may add slightly more or less cherry juice. Serve with sliced fruit. Apples and grapes are best, pears good too.

something I think is fun and easy is cucumber sandwhiches,,

spread recipe--
cream cheese softened ( 1 or 2 boxes depending on how much you want to make)
one cucumber peeled and chopped small
sour cream ( half a cup for one box of Cream cheese whole cup for two)
Fresh dill chopped

mix it all up and serve in a bowl with sliced baggette bread( you can get it at walmart deli pre sliced) YUM YUM my girls love it and they are 11 and 13 we have it all the time at our girlie girlie parties.

A fun dip for fruits or vegetables.

1 8oz. package of cream cheese.
1 7oz. jar of marshmellow cream.

mix together in a bowl until smooth (my kids like it a little chunky).
optional add food coloring to meet the occasion.

Chips and green onion Dip!
~INGREDIENTS~
1 1/4 cups sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/8 cup chopped green onion
(1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1/4 teaspoon dried minced onion
salt and pepper to taste

~DIRECTIONS~
In a medium bowl, stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, green onion, dry onion soup mix, dry minced onion, salt and pepper. Chill until serving.

7 layer taco dip:

brown ground beef with taco seasoning

layer in a 13x9 cake pan

Refried beans, onion, black olives, meat. Bake until warm.

Top with shredded lettuce, salsa and shredded cheese.

Serve with taco chips

make lavash wraps. cut then in slices and stick a toothpick in them to make them bite size.

rotel dip in a crock pot is popular.
