How their are so many rude, inconsiderate people there are out in this world? Especially on chat sites?
I was on a chat site, actually it was for yahoo, and of course I get an IM from some guy. I was like umm...okay hi. We were talking and all of a sudden the topic of my adoption came up.(Dont ask how,it just did) and he asked me why was I adopted...I told him that my dad was a major alchoholic and druggie, and was very abusive-both physically and sexually. He actually had the nerve to ask-"well was it pleasurable?" I was like WHAT? Excuse me? You did not just say that...
But he did and then this scum bag thinks its funny that I was raped by my father, and I was just so hurt and upset that this is why i ask this question....
Is it true that there really are these types of people out there in the world that simply just do not have any feelings whatsoever?
Is it true that this world is really this harsh?
I know its a cruel world out there, but isnt this a little to much?

i knew the guy i was talking to...so it wasnt like he was a stranger..sorry if it sounded that way. But i've known him for about a year now...

What a jerk off!!! yes there are people like that out there and i am married to one of them, Some people have no empathy for anyone and have no sense of what is wrong or right.. it is best to ignor these people they are not worth the time it takes to think about them.. But the good news is that there are heaps of people who are not like that and im one of them so take care hun :)

Well unfortunately there is. Some people don't care about how people feel and they actually take it as a joke when they hurt someone. People like that are jerks. They have nothing better to do but to say stupid stuff. Don't worry about it and just say you know what Karma. What comes around goes around. You know. Don't let it bother you. He's just someone who is very inconsiderate and has nothing better to do. Like I said unfortunately there is people out there like that but their time is coming for when they'll really need to talk to someone and no one is really gonna care. I'm sorry that happened to you though. Hope this helped.

unfortunately thats the reality of this world; I am Christian and I believe in that the world is coming to an end and that ijesus is coming to earth again and really this is what will happen in the end time, as the bible says. The one thing that I can tell you is that he was just being controled by the evil spirits and it has nothing to do with you; what happened to you was absolutely bad and really should not have happened and I pray that God be with you and help you forgive him, your dad, so you are abled to live a more free and fulfiled life; you can only get that through Jesus Christ!

Yes I agree with you that It was very inconsiderate of him to make fun out of the miss fortune of others, But why tell a complete stranger anything as important or potenially hurtful about your life.
I hope you have learnt your lesson dont trust strangers. And lots of us ( although I simpathise with you about what you suffered )dont actually want to know about it!!!!

Yes, these kinds of idiots are out there.......and worse. People can be cruel, horrid and evil, to put it lightly. Look at what your dad did to you! That guy deserves to have his head caved in........I hope he's in prison for what he did.

Honey, I'm sorry for what you went through it happens all too often. There are alot of people with no feelings but there are far more who do care and who are not scum bags. surround yourself with the ones who care for you and just forget the rest. you are a beautiful person. what happened to you didn't change that. hang in there

As sad as it is, there are people like that and even worse. Try not to take it to heart. Not everyone can be understanding about what you went through so don't mention it to strangers, only people you have gotten to know well.

OK, this world is full of nuts. have you watched the news latley?? you shouldnt be talking about that kind of stuff with strangers. you set yourself up to be hurt. that stuff is really personal. and for people who have gone through adoption, you should know that it is a sensitive area for some. you should keep private stuff,private.
