I don't know about any grants...but go back to financial aid...oftentimes students are given scholarships and they decide not to attend that school. Those scholarships are still at the school. They don't advertise it....I found out by joking around with the financial aid reps and asking for a little more money. He went into his computer and found me an extra grand.

It never hurts to ask if there is any more financial aid you qualify for.

You can take out a loan. I am a junior college student who didn't recieve any financial aid. So, I took out a small loan. There's this loan processing place call tuitionanswerloan.com. It is through Sally Mae. You don't have to pay it back until graduation. They also give you the choice of paying it back during college. Whatever you choose. Well, good luck any ways. God bless you!!!!

The only other alternative is to apply for a loan only for the amount you need and then when your money does come through in a dispursement check pay it back because you don't want to accrude too much interest it's better to pay it back right away if you can.

Check with the athletics department to see if they offer book certificates for anything (i.e. cheerleading, dance team, etc.). Also if you play a musical instrument at all, sometimes you get credit for participating in the band.

It helps you find scholarships, decide on the best loans for you, and calculate how long it will take you to pay back what you owe.
