The same as in any state. At the funerals of their beloved husbands. Seriously though, not all states have black widows. You might see one once in a while in Conn., though rare. Do you know how to identify a black widow if you was to see one? The hourglass shape is only on the female on the underside of her abdomen. She is larger than the male. The male is about half the size of the female, and has red and yellow bands on its back abdomen. Death is rare from a bite. The female is venomous, the male and the baby spiders are not.
