Does nail appearances matter that much to make new friends? Because I usually bite my nails. Does it reduce the chances of me making friends at all? I know I should stop biting my nails but I just can't.

I don't think nail appearances matter much in making friends but to some people (like a friend of mine) it's a sign of insecurity. Also the thing is that you can stop biting your nails so have faith and good luck!

Nail appearance shouldn't have an affect on you making friends. Maybe the reason you aren't making friends is because you are biting your nails because of stress or nervousness and you are projecting that to others.

Having good or bad nails does not determine whether you would make a good or bad friend so no.

Though for your own good, try to stop biting your nails.

If that stops you from getting or having friends then there are a lot of friendless people out there. I'm not condoning it because of all the germs that get in your mouth from that and think about the last time you wiped.........
