Probably my biggest issue with non-Christians is this issue. Basically there is no winning and it is very hypocritical. We can''t speak our minds or we are judged, but we if we do speak our minds then we become the Judges. I took an ethics class once and did not tell anyone that I was a Christian until the last day of class. One of the girls turned and looked at me and said, "Really? But you argue so well." Which is the reason I didn't tell in the first place. They listened to me and respected my opinions as long as they knew I was not a Christian, but the minute they found out all of that goes out the window. Its not fair but I guess it is the burden we must bear. For all those non-christian people out there though....you should realize that we do have opinions of our own and it is our right to have them no matter our personal beliefs.

It is no different then when a man stands up for is right anywhere, at work or at a repair shop he is being a man. Yet when a woman does the same thing she is being a Bit ch so don't worry what people are saying. As long as you are not going around quoting the bible to every one you pass nothing wrong with stating your view point. No one likes a bible quoter. So just go on live your life they way you want and stated what you believe in your heart if others don't like it they do not need to speak with you.

Not only are you called a condemning Christian but you are now "Shoving it down their throats"
In the land of two faces its okay to put people down and call them crazy and use profanity BUT when a Christian takes a stand or makes a statement we are considered unloving, hypocritical and inferior mentally.
Take your stand and state your cause love the critic but ignore their criticize when it is obviously a personnel attack.

Actually, I'm an atheist and my experience is the opposite yours. I think its all just point of view, for the most part. The only times I've noticed that Christians are really judgmental is when they judge others by their own belief system, rather than trying to see things from the other person's point of view. Its one thing to be firm in your beliefs and follow them, its another to judge anyone who doesn't share them to be less worthy than yourself.

All the difference in the world. I am firm and commited to my beliefs but I have no opinions on what path other people take in life. It's easy for me to be non-judgemental because I view life as the illusion and spirituality as the reality. How people choose to act out the charade of life on this plane isn't for me to judge.

People tend to use thier belief to judge people. Even priest do this. Even if they are wrong, it is thier belief. And they "feal" thier is no truth but thiers. Far from the fact to the "true" nature of the world. I myself am also religous and judge accordingly to. But am not always correct. The wise is the one who does not consider himself wise. These words I also use to judge myself before I let another come accross and give wrong jurisprudence. But I am no christian by a long shot. I will obey no nun, pastor, priest, deacon, monk, imam, and so forth. I can not have a man or woman come accross me speaking words as if they are more knowledgable than GOD. But woman seem to be more wise than men(naturaly), but thier hearts can misguide them in certain decisions. It is just human nature to take advantage of things. So I tend to look for the nature of THE GOD for correct jurisprudence.
I am no christian, but simply giving you a sample of my opinions by speaking my peace. Take care love!
PEACE! SALAM! SHALOM!

I, at times, feel the same way, but remember John 15:18-27.
Also the defrence between judging and standing firm in the faith is, condeming, which is when you tell others they are sinning, but you speak it out of spite not love; and condoning, which is when you tell others they are sinning, but you speak it out of love not spite.
Contenue to share the faith. Make a stand and don't allow the hypocrites to stop you.

They will always judge but you know the way,,just because they do don't mean you can...Stand for what you believe and don't back down...No man can speak peace unless Jesus is in them,,he is peace...we can only search out our own salvation with fear and trembling..it is our job to make sure we are doing what we are suppose to,not to care if man looks and says oh that is pleasing to him..we have to be pleasing to our Father..It will cause men to hate you,,trust me I know...they hate me but yet never gave me a chance,if they seen I don't come to harm anyone..I am not a lair either because that is wrong to do..but they still don't believe...don't worry about what they think, just worry if you are pleasing to your Father..Love Ya,

Good question. Telling someone the truth is way different from judging someone. I can say to someone, "You just sat down there." And that is the truth, but if I say "You are lazy!" Then that is judging, because how do I know that the person sat down because they are lazy. The truth hurts and some people can't handle the truth, but I'd say keep saying it because the truth sets us free. If someone is sleeping around and they aint married then the truth is that they are in sin and we should help others out to make it to heaven. Good luck.

Judging is taking another person, their actions and/or beliefs and holding them to or up against your beliefs and then making or drawing an opinion on there morality , goodnes or worthiness as a human being according to your standards. You can stand firm in your beliefs and not judge.
