It's all very well applying for discounted travel cards. In some cities/towns there are 2 or 3 train and bus operators and some of them do NOT accept travel cards offered by the other operators. The operator that runs the bus service I use REFUSES to accept travel cards issued by other companies AND the Council Pensioner Card.

Im sure you can pick up a card in any tube station and some exchange shops
