Im noticing that there are energy calories and fat calories on many low fat items and Im trying to calculate the points of this item and Im not sure which one you are supposed to use.

So for example it has...
Fiber: 5g
Total Fat: 5g
Calories (Energy): 190
Fat Cal: 50

if i recall correctly, points are caculated by the energy calories and fiber. Use: Calories 190

Calories are equivalent. It does not matter in which form they are ingested -- all calories can fuel your activities, or go to your waistline. I don't know the specific multipliers that Weight Watchers uses to convert calories to "points", but you can convert food values into calories by using the following multipliers: carbohydrates, 4.2 calories per gram; fats, 9.1 calories per gram. Most package labels already show calorie conversions, so you will not need to use these numbers very often.

I use energy calories but weight watchers have a formula.
