So to cut the long story short, committed to a serious relationship and after that have been alone since 2 years went the wrong way once that too with a married co-worker.
Now how do I get over it...i love my steady boyfriend more than anything else but circumstances are such that I can't join him and he can't do that either..had resisted this for so long now..and now I feel miserable.

tell him if you haven't and give it time. You can't go on in life living a lie.

Confession is good for the soul. Tell your boyfriend what you have done and how badly you feel about the situation. Allow him to be angry and hurt, because he is both. This will either strengthen your relationship or end it. Also, seek counseling or classes and find out why you cheated. Unresolved childhood issues sometimes lead us to make decisions in our adulthood that we normally would not make. Good luck.

If you cheated on your partner and you truly love him then the only way to move on with him in a genuine and true relationship is to admit to him what you have done.

If he finds it in his heart to forgive you then the relationship can continue and you have been redeemed for your confession.

If he leaves you well that’s the end of it and you deserve it for being a cheat.

If you don't tell him you will be living a lie.

Make amends. Get back to your friend and be nice to him and more important be faithfully hereon. As for what happened dont think about it and keep away from that person as far as possible otherwise your are in for trouble again.

my boyfriend and i have been away with each other also and i understand that there's really a time that you will be tempted, however you should be consistent with your priorities and those things which you think are right from wrong.... you have to resist temptation as much as you can.... if you love somebody, you shouldn't give him something that will hurt him right?

Just once dont mean ****. You did it... and you are going to have to deal with it for the rest of your life. CHEATING IS NOT OKAY!!!!!!! You deserve to feel this way.

You made your bed now lay in it.

Re-read your question. It was really hard to follow. I would say be faithful and really good to him above and beyond what he would expect of you. Time will help you get over it.

To tell him would most likley mean to lose him. You must make peace with in your self and try not to stray again.
