This is true because, as it says in the Quran, God has given his messsage to many different peoples. It is always the same message.
It is only through the passage of time and the influence of people that it gets distorted. But there are some who follow God's message and of course they seem to act alike.
And there are many others who dress and behave alike, for instance I sell clothing for Muslims but I also sell a lot to Syrian christians and eastern orthodox as well. We can all learn to get along if we give up leaders that are only in it for their own personal gain.

I know many Muslims and they do not have a beard. So I do not know where you get that. Muslims men wear hats as they are always working outdoors and it keeps them cooler. The women do dress in a certain way as this is the way many Christians, Jewish, Hindu's, and many other religious women dress. Look at nuns they are certainly not Muslim but they dress this way. In many religions you will find similarities. In Amish what is not in Muslim is they live a very peaceful life and have even forgiven the man that killed their children. Amish are very big believers in turning the other cheek. They do not agree with war or fighting or killing in anyway. This difference makes them stand from many other religions.

Actually, the Amish follow a more orthodox following of Christianity is all. At one point all the pilgrims and women covered their heads. (it is mentioned briefly in the Bible somewhere) Most of their customs come directly from the Bible which I am pretty sure the Muslims don't use as a source for their religious convictions.

Amish are the pinnacle of what it is to be Christian, they have nothing in common at all with the religion of hate, Islam.

That is called living a humble, modest life, which is how God wants us all to live. What is so strange about doing what God wants from us? I seen nothing strange with that. If they add accepting Jesus as their savior into the mix. they've got it right with God. God bless them for that.
