Using a male-male stereo audio cable, connect the headphones jack on your tape player to the Line In jack on your computer's sound card.

Use an audio program to record from the Line In source. Hit record on the PC, hit play on the tape player, and you're all set!

I have done this with vinyl records and it works great.

Hi, to transfer a song from a cassette player to computer, you need a cable having stereo plugs at both ends. put one plug at the headphone socket of your tape player and the other end in the "line-in" socket of your PC. Use "Musicmatch juke player" to record the song in your system. it will work. Good Luck ;0)
