I prefer his Sermon on the Mount. It is pretty basic and goes over all the moral issues of everyday life.

Well, this is just personal opinion, but I think you would find them in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), Matthew 22:34-40 (the Greatest Commandment), John 3 (the need for spiritual birth) and John 14 (the centrality of Jesus).

The mark of a disciple is love for others (John 13:35).

The Son of man is Lord of the Sabbath (Matthew 12:8, Mark 2:28, Luke 6:5).

Christ did not come to destroy the law or the prophets (Matthew 5:17).

You reject the commandments of God that you make keep your own traditions (Mark 7:9).

Well it depends on what you are going though in life. All of them are important other wise they would not be written for us to read. It is not the level of importance rather it is the relevance in our life.
I personally love his parables. They have a way of making you think.

Many people do not take the time to find out for them selves who Jesus really was. Many have a limited idea..but there is more to him than many realize. I am going to include a link to an article that talks about Jesus. It takes you to the Bible and helps you find the answer to your question.

Matt 22:36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 He said to him: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’ 38 This is the greatest and first commandment. 39 The second, like it, is this, ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets.”
