Im in love with a guy who is a player. Ive known him for years. He used to chase me all the time but has now stopped since i told him i wouldnt take things further with him cause i wanted to make sure he was really interested in me. We only met up twice and he did say he liked me. What should I do???

He will most probably not stop what he does. I used to be like him but I have settled down now with a woman I have been seeing for 9 months. Since my divorce i was a terrible type, playing everywhere, although now I am in a relationship I still have to stop myself from going off, especially if a woman makes it clear to me that she is interested and I am convinced it will only be a matter of time, but I am hanging in there at the moment. Now I think I am quite a bit older than you or this guy, so my advice to you would be, forget it, especially since you have told him you would not take things further untill you knew what he wanted and he stopped chasing, spells a man with only one thing on his mind. If you dont want to get hurt by this guy, stay away.

like you said he is a bit of a player, how do you know he means what he is saying. there is a saying "actions speak louder than words"........has he made you feel that he is serious, also you have said that he has stopped pursuing you since you didnt take things further with him..what does that say to you????

if hes a player i would say forget about him. Hes not worth it. Just think he he ever cheated on you, your heart would be broken. theres plenty more fish in the sea. Hes not the anwser! But its not up 2 me its up to you.
