Impressive???? Brie with apples wrapped in puff pastry......it sounds complicated but it is easy and sooooo good.
1 good sized apple cut into thin slices
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 tea cinnamon
(you can add some chopped pecans too)
toss these ingredients together in a bowl
Thaw a sheet of Peperidge Farm Puff Pastry
Roll out a bit to wrap around a wheel of Brie (I get the 8" I believe it is from Costco)
Set the wheel of Brie on the puff pastry and top with the apple mixture. You can do the apple mixture first, add the Brie and then bring all the puff pastry up around it and flip it over to bake. You can even cut some pastry off prior to wrapping the Brie and make a decoration on top. I like to do it Brie first and then you bring 2 of the sides up and twist (you will pinch it together too) and then the other two and pinch it into the other 2. It ends up looking like 4 little leaves on the top of a package. Pinch the corners down the side as well so the juice does not run out.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and let set 20-25 minutes before serving.
It sounds hard but it is so easy and so good I am telling you. Everyone loves this!
Another easy, easy, Easy!!!
1 carton of cottage cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 package taco seasoning
copped scallions
Mix this all together and put in a pie dish or something cute. The dish you put it in can make the simplest recipe look impressive! Top with cheese, olives if you want, you could add more scallions to the top.....be creative. Serve with corn chips and veggies.
Good luck!

This is a very simple but good one is to take wieners and cut them into bite size pieces. Pour some barbecue sauce into a dish and add the wieners. Heat the wieners and sauce in a covered microwave dish for a couple of minutes. Just before you bring out the dish from the kitchen, sprinkle sesame seeds over the wieners and stick toothpicks into the wieners. THIS IS SERVED HOT
If it is a special occasion-- Take a large piece of thick Styrofoam, draw or trace an outline onto the Styrofoam. Example--heart shape, Christmas tree, pumpkin, baby bottle, etc. For valentine day I traced the outline of a heart onto the Styrofoam. Next, I used colored toothpicks, and stook small pieces of cheese, meat, pickles, olives, hot peppers, onions, or whatever else you like onto the toothpicks. Fill in the outline with the toothpicks after you have placed the food on them. Place this in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve. This make a very color-fold dish and it is quick and easy. THIS IS SERVED COLD

Ham Roll Ups
2 packages sliced ham
1 package cream cheese
1 jar dill pickle spears
Spread cream cheese on ham, place pickle spear in middle, roll up and cut into about 2 inch pieces. Real easy.
Variations - mix cream cheese with any powdered dip mix and spread in tortillas
mix deviled ham, mayo and shredded cheddar cheese and spread in tortillas
You can use whatever you like, but this is a real easy appetizer.
Another good one:
Beer Weinies
2 packs of hot dogs, cut into about 2 inch pieces
1 can of beer
1 bottle of barbeque sauce
place everything in a crock pot and heat till hot - add a little water if the sauce is too thick. Serve with crackers and sliced cheeses.
or you can try
Southwestern Dip
2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
2 cans black beans, drained and rinsed
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
chopped green onions to taste
1 can rotel, drained
olive oil
vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients with just enough olive oil and vinegar to barely coat. Serve with corn chips.
And for something sweet:
Easy Peanut Butter Cookies
2 eggs
2 cups crunchy peanut butter
2 cups sugar
Mix ingredients, place by spoonfuls on cookie sheet, bake at 350 for about 8 minutes. Really easy, really good.
Hope these help! Have fun!

Tortilla chips with salsa and/or guacamole. Guacamole is really easy to make, just mash up a couple ripe avocados, mix in some finely chopped onion and garlic, add chopped tomato (squeeze the seeds out first), a bit of fresh lime juice, and salt and pepper. Don't buy the pre-made stuff. Cut up a baguette or loaf of italian/french bread. On a plate pour some good olive oil, Kraft parmesan cheese, and black pepper for dipping. Buy a vegetable plate from the supermarket. Buy some small potato rolls, and put sliced ham, cheese, and mayo in them. Little smokie sausages cooked in BBQ sauce, with toothpicks.

Salt is the best ever natural appetizer. Taste some before your meals and you get an appetite. Simple salad like cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and raddishes are also good appetizers. And that is medically proven too.

You will need :
Groung beef seasoned(taco flavor)
sour cream/cream cheese
lettuce
tomatoe
black, green or both olives
salsa
Layer it up on platter, serve with dipping nachos or fritos. Make it look presentable. Don't just throw it all together.
OR,
Get small tortilla shells(round) spread cream cheese and salsa on it, roll them up. sounds plain but, they are good.
