Not at all.

But if your god has something to say to me, he can do it himself. And he WOULD do it himself, if he genuinely cares about me getting things right, and understanding his message. He wouldn't leave others to do it, as if an infinite being would be short on time. And he wouldn't communicate it through flawed, falliable humans who are driven to distraction by their own petty agendas and prejudices. He would do it himself, with a clarity and insightfulness that only an infinitely intelligent being would have.

Excuses won't fly on this one. They won't even crawl.

you know that's a tough one. I'd like to say no, but the truth is yes. Hardened to certain things that you just never see any change in. You pray every day for certain things, sometimes for years and seem to see no change. Especially in those you love. It then becomes a constant struggle to not grow callous and nasty and mean and one you must seek prayer on daily. It is those tough things that make you grow stronger and then every now and then you see God move and answer other prayers which gives you hope to hold out and continue praying for the ones you are growing hardened to.

This happened to me many years ago, and I was away from the Lord for five years. Looking back, these were the most miserable years of my life, as I came to the Lord when I was 13 years old.

If anyone's heart is hardened against God, I will urge you to ask Him to live you a heart which will listen to His voice, and obey Him. God has a wonderful plan and purpose for your life, and if you harden your heart towards Him, He is unable to fulfill that purpose.

I used to give alot. Talk alot. Make alot of people smile. Then later I realised that I had nothing back in return. That's when I feel depressed. And later on I coulnt care less anymore. I just became anormal boring person. Spending most of my time her ein Yahoo answers. And these days, I become numb. I don't answer many questiosn. I don't talk much. I just sit back and listen. Never heard any jokes from anyone who's willing to share it too. Cos there are none....

So I just go to sleep earlier at night and wake up and go to work and not care too much....

Just live life like any other human being might do.

Just move along.

Perhaps someday I'd die and be forgotten like I never existed at all..

Try that sometime.

By the way. Thanks for the points.

Dhikr (continual rememberance of ) Allah has softened my heart.

Muhammad (saw) said that when one is far from God, then one's heart is hard and when one is near to God by remembering Him, then one's heart is made soft and one's mercy and compassion mirrors the mercy and compassion of God.

And Allah knows best.

Peace and Blessings,

Salim
