I really feel if I could just get a boost with this or get on the right 'path' that I could do this. I just need someone to help get me there.

I had great success with WW, and lost almost 50 pounds! It was hard at first, but I made it through, and because I stuck to it, I have developed habits that have made it quite easy to keep the weight off. I have kept it all off for almost a year now!

Part of my success was joining this Weight Watchers discussion group on this website:

If you scroll down on the page, there is a whole section just for people in WW, with everything from recipes, to support, to success stories, to finding a buddy, etc. It really kept me going to be a part of it!

My wife joined weight watchers and lost 20 pounds quickly. She followed the point system very carefully and cut out alot of her snacking. I think it was the first time in a long time that she actually ate stuff that was good for her, like fruits and vegetables. And she dranks lots and lots of water (that's a key). She didn't do a lot of exercising, just a 20-30 minute walk every day. She also liked to go to the weight watcher's message board every now and then for an emotional boost.

You just gotta believe in yourself. I know you can do it!

I had a co-worker who did very well with weight watchers.

You may be able to find a good support group on yahoo groups. I think you will get much better responses from yahoo groups than yahoo answers. Not everyone here is trying to be helpful.

Do you have a gym membership? It is a lot better than you would think working out at the gym. Best to go at least 3 times per week. But any exercise is better than no exercise. Just a matter of getting into a routine. Try to find someone to go with you.

when u need guidance just think about how strong u r...even if u feel weak. the only person that is going to reach your goal is yourself. i myself am going to the gym and have failed in the past sticking with it. i depended on other people to give me that boost when all i had to do was learn how to gain the mentality boost myself. instead of feeling powerless, feel powerful; instead of feeling un-energized, feel energized; instead of feeling controlled, be in control. u can do this! stay positive and focused. remember that u can do anything u want to do. u chose to do weight watchers so give it a chance and do it right. hope this helped
