Are you eating crap cause its what your body wants?
If so then thats ok as when you are pregnant your body sends signals to you telling you exactly what it needs to make a baby.
I would stress however that you must get the right balance of nutrients inside you and eat lots of vegetables as well as the food you want. If you are eating crap because its convenient and you are tired then changing your diet to eat more fresh foods, fruit and veg etc will actually help to give you more energy which will benefit you and your baby throughout your pregnancy and hopefully make it easier for you when the baby comes as you will have more energy and probably not have put much weight on.

Hi, I don´t believe that eating junk food, would do any harm to your baby, as long as its not the only kind of food you are eating! Always try to have balanced meals and if you feel like it now and then you can eat some crap! Its important for the babys growth that you are getting all your vitamins and nutrients! Good Luck and congrats for the baby

If that is all you eat then yes. What you eat goes to the baby.
The baby needs all the vitamins and minerals that are not in junk food. Occasional junk food is ok, but you need to be eating the right stuff too.
5 fruit & veg per day, 1 portion of oily fish per week etc.

Of course.
Eat plenty of fruit and vegeatbles to provide your baby with the necessary nutrition.
Additionally, if you eat junk food, then as your baby gets older, the junk food addiction will be passed on, creating another unhealthy life.
I reckon junk food is worse for the health than smoking.
Junk food hoax

Of course its bad for the baby as it will inherit your genes, so eating junk food or smoking will effect the baby growth pattern

Yes, your baby needs essential vitamins and proteins to be able to develop! Junk food has not got much of that! Try and eat green veg and a balanced diet of fruit veg and meat. Stay off the booze and fags!

Well salt is very bad for adults, and just a table spoon of salt can kill a child.
I suggest swapping crisps for another form of crunchy food like dried bannanas and nuts. It is the M.S.G in crisps that make them addicitve so go for a healthy option. You could even try making your own and shallow frying them without the salt on of course.
Also be aware that what ever you eat after the baby is born will effect what your breast milk will taste like.

Why would you want to do that to yourself, let alone an unborn baby?? Both you and the baby have so much more to benefit from a healthy diet.......plus you'll feel fitter for the birth. Set a good foundation for your baby's future health in life by doing whats right NOW...

Yes it can. And if you don't get enough vitamines etc, your baby will have to find it. I read in an article that your unborn baby might take from you, your calcium and other vitamines, if he doesn't get enough from what you eat.
I suggest you to take vitamines, ask the chemist or your GP which one, as all of them are not always good for pregnant women. and try to start now to have a good diet, as you'll have to keep it for feed your baby when it will be born.
good luck
