How can we help the 70-80 percent of good Muslims, overcome the 20-25 percent that have Hijacked their religion?

what do you mean 20-25 percent of hijackers ? like 400 000 000 hijackers !!!!

Instead of helping, maybe if we had more people like you that understand that we are amongst the 80% we would not be so opressed in any country. Its very sad that even in America we dont feel safe or treated as we once were because of something a few people did. I dont understand how we blame religion...did we blame religion when that man killed 5 amish girls...or when Oklahoma City bombing happened...those all devestaed people...instead of pointing at religion we should blame the actual people. Islam does not teach us to kill or hurt anyone if anything Islam means PEACE and submission to God's will. Please do not think every Muslim is the same.

20-25% translates to 300-375 million people... thats a lot of bodies to gun down... just plain crazy in my opinion.
Step #1.) help show the world how the 70-80% are really good and peaceful then we can get more of the Non-Muslim World to support them instead of just blindly hating all of them. If we can all unite against this common evil then Osama's days are numbered.
Step #2.) Stop supporting and/or deport those imams who preach hate (a.k.a. limit Islamist propaganda)
Step #3.) Get the 70-80% to do what we havent seen so far... get up and fight Osama and fiends (politically, socially, economically and militarily).
This doesnt guarantee total victory... but it should be a step in the right direction.

Give them back their weapons and let them fight it out without interfering. Their governments were doing very nicely at eliminating Bin Laden and all the other fundamentalist terror groups, having forced them into living in abandoned villages and caves in Afganistan. At least they were until the west stepped in and let them all loose again. And I don't think it is 25% highjackers, more likely about 5% at the most. that is still a lot. One of the problems is that in an occupied country people are going to be more favourable to extremists if they are attacking the invaders and occupiers. and this is about stealing their oil.

At first,
No religion is good in that, the religion can not teach "to be a human"
So neither Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists.. .. . . .. . are good.
Most of the people are good, most of the times & no one is always good or bad. A person who is bad is bad in that particular context or situation only.
Last point:-
No one can change those realities that you want to.
So, best way:- Let the fittest survive and others die. So it is about religion and philosophy too.
