Rather it is the authors of this day that work mysterious. They provide many proofs that the word of God is a lie and their words are true. The funny thing is though , their words keep changing and the messages differ from one author to the next.God word remains the same and all of His authors have the same message.I am not sure how many authors God used to write the Bible, but if you took as many authors today, and tried to write a book that speaks to people like the Bible has. All you would end up with is confusion.Just look at the world today to prove this.No one agrees with anyone else.Yet these authors were in total unity with one another. That is because they came together under the unction of the Holy Ghost and wrote as if One Author and Finisher had done the writing. To many people judge the Word by what they see His followers do, but rest assured it is us who mess up and not Him.That is why we all need Jesus so much in our life's.

Define 'myterious'.

In some respects they worked in abnormal ways and God seems to have worked through them (and their subjects) in miraculous ways.

There is some element of 'mystery' to early Christian teaching in that it explained certain things that had previously not been understood in either Jewish or pagan teaching -- the natures of the Messiah and the resurrection, for example.

One might, I suppose, say that the process of inspiration is a mystery. We do not even entirely understand the psychological processes by which a modern secular writer is able to produce a good story, much less the way in which the Holy Spirit worked to help the writers choose exactly the right words for their accounts and letters.

Mysterious ways? Well... I think that it would depend on your point of view. I believe that God worked through the New Testament writers so that they would write what He wanted written; since God is just (and most would believe this is true), He would not lie. The New Testament is God-breathed, inspired; however I do not think it is all that mysterious.
