will one box of hair dye be enough for long hair?

the girl on the front of the packet has very short hair and im worried one box wont be enough my hair is of average thickness and goes to half way down my back

You'll most likely need two boxes. The hair on the front doesn't mean it'll only cover for hat length. They're just models. But instead of mixing it all right away, save about half of the color and chemicals from the second box. Don't mix them. You can keep them air tight in a container and use them later when you do your roots. Just make sure it's even amounts.

Well the best way to figure this one out is to buy 2 boxes. If you find that one box is infact enough, then save the other box for next time. But if not then you will have a second box for incase. You don't wanna be in the middle of dyeing your hair and realise that one box is not enough! :)

Since your hair isn't overly thick, one box will be enough. Many women make the mistake of thinking that they need to saturate the hair in dye to the point that it drips. Not true. Your hair doesn't need to be caked in the stuff for it to work. Also, women with shorter hair don't use the entire bottle. There is plenty of product in the box if you use it right.

i used to dye my hair. my hair is really thick and was about 1/4 of the way down my back and 1 box was always a squeeze. i would definately get two and if you only use 1 well you'll always have a spear.

No it will not be enough for your hair if you want a good all even round colour you will need two boxes of the same colour of course.
I have long hair and need two boxes i used to use one and it did not cover properly or last long now i always use two.

it doesnt matter what length the girls hair is on the packet, they are only advertising the colour, if you have thin hair then one will be enough but if your hair is thick and down your back then you will need two, buy two anyway, you can always get a refund if you dont use it!

No i would buy two one box for each half head. I have long hair and two is sometimes never enough, depends which brand of hair dye u are buying.Feria is good get two feria ones and do one each half head.

I would get two boxes ... I have quite thick hair which is at my shoulders and one box only just does the job ... it's better to be safe than sorry.

no you will need two love, i used to have to buy 2 when my hair was down to just above my bum, do one box for top to halfway down and the other for the rest should be ok, my hair was really thick when it was long like that.

not if u want a all over color my hair is long an thick so i use between 2 and 3 if u die ur hair alot it will be dry so it will soak up more die sometimes it works out better to go to the hair dressers
