IT'S NOT A MICROPHONE!!!!
They all get one when they get chosen. It's a little stell octagon on a string or leather. If you watch the first episode of each season you'll see they get them. Speciffically the first episode of season one they mention what they are.

LOL you goobers.... Its an Octagon that they get in a necklace once they are chosen for the show... LOL if you look at UFC events, the still sometimes wear them. I trained with Ed and Josh from last season here in Greshem Oregon at Team Quest, and they woar them there too :)
