i have to define in more detail what socail work means and an example of good practise thanks for your help

Everyday we are in once sense Social Workers we talk,listen to peoples problems,Advise & give encouragment to others,Don`t we? so that is good practise,ensuring we can make someone`s lifestye better than it is by using all the agencies available,of course there are times when it doesn`t go to plan, but, that`s what makes the world go round.

social work is looking after people,when you have a genuine interest in their whole wellbeing and not just 1 aspect.
an example of good practise would be to try and make your client feel that they can rely on you

Download their charter and you will probably get some definitions as well as codes of practise.
