One of them is Hanafi, the religion of Abraham which still stand till Muhammad came. Abraham himself had mentioned about the last messenger. Muhammad himself is a Hanafi.

In Arabia before Islam, was the two others monotheist religion - Judaism and Christianity -

the majority of Arabia though was polytheist, every tribe having theirs owns polytheism.

When the Prophet peace upon him was sent, the Kaaba used to contain over 300 different statutes of divinities.

The most important were : Ouza ( Honour) Houbal ( business traffic) and Alet ( wealth) ,

Jews and Christians were there immediately before
Islam in these lands. Or there were the Tribals and other Inhabitants who were the descendents from the Ancient Mesopotamian Civilization .

they was worshiping pagan coz they think that will make them closer to god ... some of them jews .. some hanafi as katie said ..

alot differetn kind of religions but mostly they use to worship statues and other kind of things.
