There is absolutely no reason to. Too few people question this, and most that do would just think "... well, aren't you supposed to?" or something like that.
Most Churches intimidate their patrons, oops I mean followers (sheep/lemmings) into coming with threats of burning in a hell that doesn't exist and stuff. In reality they just want what is in the envelope.

Because the Bible tells us to "keep holy the Lord's Day". Because the Bible tells us not to avoid the gatherings of the community but to attend. But mainly because the Holy Mass, and specifically the Most Holy Eucharist, is the most intimate interaction that any human being can have with God while on this Earth. Jesus said we cannot really have spiritual life within us except through the Eucharist. I truly feel sorry for those who sincerely seek to come closer to Christ, but who because of the doctrinal errors of their human founders are denied the physical presence of the risen Savior, the single greatest source of grace God has provided for His people.

You should not attend Mass.
This is religion
You need a relationship with the Living God, by being 'born again'.
Then find a church which is like the Chruch as described in Acts.

Lots of very good reasons:
1) The Mass is the "THIS" in Jesus' words "Do THIS in memory of me."
2) The Mass is the definitive New Testament sacrifice for sin, and is spiritually equivalent to the Last Supper, and the Crucifixion.
3) The Mass is the definitive and eternal fulfillment of the Jewish Passover celebration.
4) The Mass is at the very center of God's New Testament plan for our salvation.
5) At every Mass, God Himself provides us with the crucified and risen flesh and blood of His divine Son, Jesus, so we can present it to Him on the altar. Doing so, we offer God acceptable sacrifice and faithful, practical worship.
6) By The Power Of God, And For All Generations, Christ’s Singular, Perfect, And Eternal Sacrifice Is Made Present At Every Mass.
7) The Mass was prophesied in the old testament:
Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even to the going down, my name is great among the Gentiles, and in every place there is sacrifice, and there is offered to my name a clean oblation: for my name is great among the Gentiles, says the Lord of hosts.
8) The Mass obtains forgiveness for all venial sins, and makes atonement for the sins of the whole world.
9) The Mass is a supernatural work of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, centered on Jesus Christ, and it is the “Source And Summit” of all Christian life.
10) At Mass, we personally encounter Jesus Christ. The Jesus we personally encounter in Holy Communion is the eternal sacrifice for sin. Raised from death, alive and glorious, body, blood, soul, and divinity.
11) Without the Real Presence of Jesus Christ, the Mass would simply be another prayer service, offered by another assorted congregation of sinful humanity.
12) Instead, through His Church, God gives us the means to participate in the same sacrifice, offer the same Perfect Victim, and obtain the same graces that eternally flow from Christ's once-for-all sacrifice at Calvary.
13) We do this in perfect communion with Jesus Christ, who is our God, our leader, our brother, and king, as well as our altar, our victim, and our eternal high priest.
14) Presented with a sacrifice such as this, God looks, not upon our sins, but upon the perfect humanity of His divine Son, Jesus.
15) Through this propitiatory work of God, His righteous anger for our many transgressions is appeased, and His wrath is turned to mercy, grace, and peace.
16) This is precisely as it was foretold by the angels attending Jesus' birth. "Glory to God in the highest: and on earth peace to men of good will." (Luke 2:14)
17) There is no substitute for the Mass and the Eucharist. There is no greater form of worship, either on Earth, or in Heaven.
18) There is no more effective channel of grace, no known alternative means of salvation.
19) Jesus, and the Mass was, is, and will always be, the very best that God can give. Knowing and understanding all this, only a fool would refuse to participate.
20) That's why it's necessary for each of us to attend Mass … every Sunday, and on every designated holy day. Don't miss it ... for the world!

A personal relationship with God is only part of teh relationship that god wants us to have. He also wants us to have a relationship with each other.
We go to Sunday Mass to worship and praise God as a community. God speaks to us not only in His Word, but also though the words and love of those around us.
We gather together at Mass not just to hear His Word in Scripture, but also to pray for each other and to ahve others pray for us for forgiveness snd strength. At Mass we voice our needs and ask God to hear our prayers.
Also at Mass, toether we remember that Jesus suffered and died on the cross not just for me personally, but for all of us. We remember the last Supper in which Jesus gave us His Body and Blood for our salvation. These things were done for US, so we gather together to celebrate this.
We also come together at Mass to receive the Body and Blood of Christ. This makes US the Body of Christ, the hands and feet, voice and heart of Him who gave His life for us and who told us to love one another.
