HOPEFULLY SOMEONE OUT THERE CAN HELP ME!!!!!! I BOUGHT A 305V CAMCORDER AND KNOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD EVERYTHING TO THE COMPUTER. I NEED HELP TO SEE IF THERE IS A WAY TO DOWNLOAD TO THE COMPUTER AND MAKE A DVD FROM THE COMPUTER TO BE ABLE TO WATCH ON TV. I KNOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD THEM TO MY COMPUTER BUT WHEN I DRAG THEM TO MAKE A DVD THE PART THAT SAYS CREATE A VIDEO DISC DOES NOT HIGHLIGHT FOR ME TO PICK THAT OPTION. I HAVE A DVD BURNER ON MY COMPUTER ALSO. SO IS THERE ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE PROGRAM THAT I NEED SO I WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE COPIES TO PLAY ON THE TV. OR IS THIS SOMETHING THAT YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT DO WITH THIS SPECIFIC CAMCORDER. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS

Some DVDs can play all kinds of files. Others only specific types. Check the owners manual on your DVD player. There are certain programs such as NERO (which is what I use) that can burn DVDs to play on almost any DVD. Down side is that it may skip around if you try to fast forward while watching on some players. Nero is under $100. May be cheaper ones out there check out download.com for others.

its not that easy. first you copy the main part of the recording to the dvd with the help of nero or any other dvd writing program but you need a dvd writer for that. after that you also have to write the autoplay software in the dvd, it helps in the autoplay of the dvd on the dvd player and is compulsary too as the dvd player cannot read a single file like computer.
