Your teeth will shift "always and forever" as you get older. The term is called "mesial drift." If you do an internet search on "dental mesial drift," you will find almost a thousand articles explaining it.

Yes, in my experience they do. I also had perfectly straight teeth and started getting a "little gap". Well, it grew! I am now 34 years old wearing braces. I still have straight teeth- but with a gap. I think my shifting was due to TMJ- teeth grinding. I am having to correct my bite.

your teeth will almost always want to shift towards the midline of the mouth, so no matter if you've had ortho or not, your teeth will want to move forward over time. This is why it's important to keep your retainer and use it... or get one of those 'lingual bars' on the back of your lower teeth to prevent it.

Better have that check to a specialist. I am not sure about teeth shifting maybe because of gum thinning. It could also meet your jaw is misaligned a little. Not sure.

This does happen sometimes. You seem a little young for it, though. You may have gum disease or bone loss in your jaw. You really should be evaluated by a dentist in case something needs treatment.
