Some guy down there is telling that Shias and Sunnis have no difference...I want to know why they fight with each other then.

It looks like that is what they are doing now and it should culminate in a hellava battle. Unfortunately for all the bystanders, they are "collateral damage." "My dad is bigger than your dad" has been heard on school playgrounds throughout the centuries.

how can yu say Sect ? and make compare it with the difference between Catholics and Protestants ?

there is no sect in Islam. The difference between Sunnis and Shia concerne a specific historical event, and has nothing to do with the bases of the religion.
We have the same believes about everything, same traditions ... etc.
We all are muslims, just Muslims

Any path is OK. All paths lead to the same destination provided we tread carefully as ordained. No need to fight over which path is right. Religion is meant to give us peace of mind and happiness. Should we make it a cause for conflict. unfortunately this is what has been happening for centuries. This is the reason more and more people are walking away from organized religion.

Does that convince you enough to revert to Islam?
Sunnis and Shiites are only fighting in Iraq for political power and for a situation created by an invader. They fight for the same reason you democrats and republicans fight. Political power. Aren't they both Americans? Forgot your American civil war? Why did Americans kill Americans?
