Send him back to the vet. The bandage is meant to cover the wound from contamination and further infection. Swelling could mean more infection. If the bandage is meant to fix a sprain or displacement, something might have gone wrong either. The vet can give other remedies for that.

It may not be causing her pain its just that your cat even if it was fine would not like something wrapped on its foot . I'm guessing he gave it antibiotics if so I doubt its infection one problem could be that the bandage is too tight the beast way to check is if the toes are colder then on the healthy foot then blood supply may not be getting to the foot., but most likely it just hates the bandage. If its too troublesome call the vet's office and ask what you should do.

What is the reason the cat has a bandage?
It sounds like your cats bandage is on too tight. I suggest you remove the bandage and contact your vet right away. If the bandage is on too tight, it could cut off the circulation which could lead to the leg falling off, infection, and ultimately death.

Use common sense - take it off immediately and call the vet. It is probably swelling with infection and needs to be re-bandaged.

Sound as though it may be too tight, call the vet and they will let you know if she needs to be seen again. Or if it just needs lossening and if it is too tight and the vet put it on, next time go to a different vet.
