Two weeks is a very long time to have an infection any where on your body. I think it is time to see the doc and get some antibiotics. Antibiotics are not expensive in their generic state, so a prescription will not cost much. Don't delay because you can make your case a lot worst, and a lot more expensive in the long run.

I would not attempt any more home remedies at this point, see a doctor. Since you do not have medical insurance, go to a county hospital or a clinic as soon as possible. I am not trying to frighten you. but my friend 's mother got an infection that way and it resulting in her losing her foot. You may be diabetic and do not know it. You should see a doctor even if you do not have the money to pay- ask them to bill you.

soak your toe in warm water with betadyne in it several times a day. Then afterwards put hydrogen peroxide on it to bubble up, then wash it off, put neosporin and a bandaide on in between times. If it is ingrown pull your toenail away gently while it is soft after soaking.

the best thing for an infection is to get some antibiotics from a doctor. continue to clean it and use the neosporin. you may need to drain it if there is any sort of pus pocket from the infection.

try tea tree oil - apply directly to infected toe area twice daily. If no improvement in three to four days or is you run a fever go to clinic ( no charge or cheaper than hospital) you will need keflex to clear toe infection. This is serious infection usually infection will work toward bone and can cause ostermyalitis.

All of the things you have tried should have made a difference. You should go to a doctor and get a prescription for antibiotics. It isn't going away on its own so it is more serious.

Get a plastic bathtub which will in fantastic condition the foot and use quite heat water, as warm as you may stand without burning your foot. placed the salts in the water and soak for around 20-30 min. a minimum of 4x an afternoon. placed on an extremely loose shoe on that foot or placed on a slipper. this could ease the soreness and help to attraction to out the an infection in that toe. while it gets to the indications which you're explaining then you particularly basically could could flow in to the health center and have that nail bumped off. the two my daughters had it performed because of the fact theirs have been somewhat undesirable. the single daughter have been given basically area of the nail taken off and the different had the full nail on the two vast feet taken off. i comprehend it sound frightening yet while it gets as much as now it may be nicely worth it. as quickly as they do away with the nail then they could placed those issues on it to help shop it from growng back. My daughters grew back (all of em) yet now they do no longer seem to be ingrown. The painful area of this is the numbing in spite of the undeniable fact that it replaced into nicely worth it they suggested. do no longer squeeze or %. at it. attempt to get that toe so this isn't any longer so"indignant" and in case you may get it to calm down then perhaps you will no longer could flow to the scientific docs. the reality is that in case you desire it to "flow away" and have it give up hurting then you particularly could desire to flow in to the health center. wish this has helped. happy feet To You!
