I am writing a story and need a slow acting poison/toxin that can be injected and will be fatal although victim can linger for up to five days. I also need an antidote.

Liquid form of Belladonna.......makes a person awfully sick if mixed into soups and drink etc.....drinking milk slows the death process.....arsenic does the same thing.
