There's this cute girl that's new to our school, I think she's from Mexico. I've tried talking to her a few times, but she just shrugs her shoulders and smiles. She gave me a note yesterday, but I don't know what it says. Here's what's written:

Translation: "You are cute, handsome "gringo" (Gringo is the way Mexicans call the people from USA) and I want to know you better. I love your blue eyes and your blond hair. Do you love me?" Or "Do you like me?"

"Alina" is the only one who has got it right.
In this context, where the two people have not even really met, ¿Me quieres? cannot be translated as "Do you love me?". The right translation - as Alina said - should be: "Do you like me?".
Another thing is, whether this is a real question. An authentic Spanish speaker, using correct Spanish, would have said: ... TuS ojos azulES y tu pelo rubio me encantaN.
