this statement has a deep literary meaning. it means that the faster twe go on in our life to survive in this fast world putting all our efforts to defeat our competetors, the more neglecting we become of our present and slowly we lose track of everything that is happening around us and the present environment slips away from us that is from our hands

This statement does not make sense as the term "environment" is not used correctly. If you substitute "reality" for "environment" its meaning becomes self evident.
