Yes, it is sad that people completely agree with this ideology. This is the entire structure of Christianity.

Don't believe this man made stuff! Is this what God really teaches? I don't think so....The part about a mass murderer getting Christ's forgiveness is true...but...a good person who questions whether God exists will NOT go to hell! Contrary to what some believe,....I've studied this topic and what I believe to be true is that all people, even those who didn't believe in God, who question, as you do, will be given a chance to know to accept Jesus and to worship God in the future. Once knowing what the truth is, a person who then rejects God and the truth, will be burned up in hell..not tortured for eternity, but completely consumed by fire. as if they never existed.
So anyone who questions,,,is not doomed; they are only mis-informed, but will have their chance to either accept or not accept, as God gives us free will...and God is just and fair. This is the God that I believe in...
I hope this makes sense to you..

Define " A Good Person" the world standards of Good is so low that God calls their righteousness filth. I know it seems unjust to many that a rapist or murderer would go to heaven by just asking for forgiveness, but that is because we judge by the world standards and God has a different view.
None of us in this world that was created had a choice in where we would be born, who would be our parents and what race we would be a part of. Yet today many people suffer tribulation because they are of a different race and the worst thing about it is those that are doing the persecution thinks that they had something to do with what makes them who they are.
If we as people learn to grasp the concept that we were all created by God and the lives that others live could have easily been us we would then be thankful for who we are with humility and have compassion for those that are not us.

The mass murderer would have to be truly sorry and truly seeking forgiveness. How likely is that? Not very.

A "good' person as you put it doesn't really exist. We all fail to be good at some point. None of us are sin free, not even after accepting God and Jesus into our lives. We're only forgiven through their grace. Because of this, there are no "good" people. There are better people, people who do fewer evil things, but there are no perfect people. If you believe otherwise you're not being honest with yourself. Even Mother Theresa would say the same of herself (I believe she did), and you can't get much more "good" in this life than she was.

usually, if someone is a rapist or a assassin, they don't seem Christian, and information teach that adults are a lot less likely to modify and settle for Jesus as thier Lord and Savior. yet, definite, the in elementary words way for soemone to enter Heaven and stay forever is to repent and settle for Jesus as your Lord and Savior, a assassin might want to correctly be forgiven, and someone who has no longer performed some thing note worth might want to bypass to hell. it quite is because sin is a few thing it quite is performed, no count number how small or unnoteworthy it may look, that you understand is inaccurate and antagonistic to the note of God. We were born into sin. little ones are the acception till a particular age (the age of responsibility, maximum say 13). till we settle for that Christ died on the opt for our sin, we are able to not see Heaven. I pray that you may have an open heart and imagine about it and detect a Pastor who can help you realize.

It's not like saying a magic phrase like "abracadabra" or "Jesusforgiveme". When someone is saved, and they know it, there's no dignity in it. It is heart wrenching. We know what we deserve, but God has turned our hearts to Him and we know that we're His. This could happen to a mass murderer or a "good person who questions whether God exists". My money's on the latter, but Jesus did come for the lost and hurting. He's not leaving anyone behind that He came for. Mass murderer or "good person".

A lot of GOOD people will go to HELL. A lot of BAD people will go to HEAVEN. Accept Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Saved from what? Sin/self - trusting in Jesus and Him alone. Believing that he died, was buried, rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. The saints (saved) will have Eternal LIfe and Heaven - it doesn't matter about being good or bad - the deciding factor is Jesus.

Christianity... religion of the poor, mentally-challenged, Roman laborer. The reason that Christianity sprang up in the first place is so that the poor folks could have eternal paradise as well, it's just a mystery cult (like the Cult of Isis) that anyone can join. When you are looking for massive enrollment, I guess it doesn't matter if your members are mass-murderers.

Christianity is just violent in group/out group behavior. It is a primitive stab at extending the family or tribe, and was an improvement over savagery at the time.

It became completely malovelent in the fourth century, with its adoption by Constantine as the state religion of Rome. It's no mere coincidence that Rome fell very soon after embracing Christianity, and that the Dark Ages followed immediately afterward.

So yes, if you're 'in the club' you can rob, rape, murder and steal with impunity, you'll be forgiven over and over. But if you're not, you will be robbed, raped, and murdered, and your stuff will be stolen, just like the poor Iraqis are having done to them now.

This is not what "Christians believe" as you put it, it is the truth! The only way to heaven is by believing in Jesus and what Jesus did for you, you can be forgiveness for mass murder. As far as "a good person" as you put it, the bible says "there is none righteous, no, not one," We ALL need Jesus! I am very afraid for those who walk around saying, "I'm going to heaven because I'm a good person," or "God loves everyone so we're all going to heaven." Those statements are not the truth and those beliefs can be extremely dangerous to your future.

your off just a little bit, he must also turn from his sin, not just ask forgiveness. And yes, if you doubt God exists, how can you possibly accept his free gift of eternal life, and redemption from hell. everyone is on their way to hell, What God is offering is a way out, yes, even to murderers, but to you also, but belief is a requirement.
