As with me I used to be just like you, until I got my wake up call. You will too, and you might not be as lucky as I was. It took almost dying twice to finally make me see what my purpose was, and that I really did have a pupose for being here. I would never try to sell you on anything, because basically your mind is made up, right? I don't see how anyone could possibly not look around themselves and not see what the truth is. Ok, there is a 50/50 chance there is, or is not a God. If you were to gamble and loose, then what? I'm not pushing God on anyone, but if you can go stand outside and stare at the sun for an hour, without it burning your eyes out, then you can honestly say there is no God. Stand on the beach and look at the ocean. Look how small you are, and how large the ocean is. Look out into space at night, and realize how small you are. Now; can you honestly say you have it figured out? Where do you get off thinking you know there is no God? If you are depending on scientist and the big bang theory, then you are putting all your eggs in one basket. The basket is the same scientist that hasn't been able to cure the common cold! Real smart people you put your trust in there pal!! Muslims are ok, and they have a right to believe what they believe, but please don't kill anymore people just because they don't believe the way you believe. Killing innocent women and children is not my idea of religion.
I don't go to church, and I don't claim to be anything. I just know what I know, and right from wrong. If it comes down to killing people over religion, then society is sick beyond repair. All the bible is; is a guide to tell people how to survive, and live in harmony with each other. We have people in this world that worship cows, and goats, but I don't knock them. If they choose to do that, then more power to them. We are not choosing up a baseball team here, we are choosing what will happen to us in the end.
The average person uses only 1/10 of their brain, and somehow that just doesn't seem to impress me, when it comes to fighting over who is right and who is wrong. Why should it matter? People should focus on what really matters, and try to use some of that other 9/10 of their brain to at least be open minded about God.
Good Luck!!

There is no God but nothingness and Richard Dawkins is its prophet.
Seems perfectly logical to me.
If you cannot demonstrate the existence of a God, why believe in it?
Surely not just because an ancient book tell you to???
After all, who wrote the book? Not God, because he/she/it doesn't exist therefore neither do his/her/its angels and therefore it must be the work of a man.
The only reason for a man (or men) to author such a book as the bible/koran/book of the law/etc. is to gain power over people by frightening them into accepting the belief. Oh boy, how it works, but only because the subjects are indoctrinated at an early age and/or are poorly educated and so cannot see to obvious logical flaws in all the arguments.
Look at the majority of moslem and RC countries. Backward, primitive and poor. Need one say more?

I'm a Muslims and we do not force anyone to Islam.
People are free to choose there belief or non beliefs.
Most of the atheists on yahoo answers are very witty, with a great sense of humour and common sense.

i will answer you regarding of the Quran:
-for those who did not fight us for religion, neither harm us by kicking us out of home, then treat them with kindness.
[8] Allâh does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allâh loves those who deal with equity.
Quran 60:8
-regarding your believe. you consider to be a disbeliever. and God warned the disbelievers many times in the Quran with a great punishment.
-and at the end, you have your believe, and we have ours. no force into Islam: Quran 2:256

hmm... i dont wat guy told you that you can be killed but think wud be better if you asked a more learned person or checked in Qur'an yourself as far as I know that is definitely not true!!!
when i was young and did not understand why people believe in things differently to me i was taught the following verses of the Qur'an:
1. Say: O disbelievers!
2. I worship not that which ye worship;
3. Nor worship ye that which I worship.
4. And I shall not worship that which ye worship.
5. Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
6. Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion.
Islam does not impose religion on anybody.
In early stages of Islam non-Muslims were allowed to live in Muslim cities but had to pay extra tax. However, this tax exempted them from serving in the army and gave them protection if the city was ever attacked.

Muslims think you are 50% Muslims already.
To be a Muslims, you have to declare: There is no God but Allah and Muhammed is his Prophet.
Athiests stop at: There is no God.
Waiting for hear the rest of those words...
Muslims think Athiests are people who are able to think on their own and have rejected the models of God that were presented to them like Jesus (a man), Ganesh (an elephant man), Hanuman (monkey), etc.
If they are able to look into Islam with an open mind and sincerity, you will find what you are looking for.

64:7. Those who disbelieve assert that they will not be raised again. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Yea, verily, by my
Lord! ye will be raised again and then ye will be informed of what ye did; and that is easy for Allah.
