Someone working very hard, no time for a personal life until, let us say, 35. Never had a personal relationship, EVER. so when it comes to personal relationships, absolutely clueless.
Are there such people out there? Someone said something about better chances of being struck by lightning than finding someone after the age of 35?
Thanks.

I'm older than 35 and single, I have been in relationships before however and have been struck by lightening since my 35th birthday but not the sort of lightening that comes from the sky.
I would guess there's hope then.
I think single people who haven't had a significant relationship after the age of 35, it probably depends how desperate they get. In the case of one of my friends, who I've known for 10 years and I suspect fits into this category, I'm not sure if he's ever going to get enough motivation !
So depends on the individual I would say, not sure if there are stats to back up any generalisation.
However I suppose in either case to get better results when attracting a spark into one's life it might help to either become or stand very near to a lightening conductor.

False if there are no offsetting non-difficult people. If you live a life where you run into a__-h_le after a__-h_le "difficult people" have worn out their purpose in said situation. I'm at the point where even one little belligerence just totally sets me off. I can't stand it anymore. I don't need any difficult people, but I certainly have some I can donate if you really believe the answer to your question is 'true.'

There are so many single people out there over the age of 30. Have you tried signing up to a dating site? I'm 39 and registered with Uniform Dating which is a good crack - full of firemen and doctors (!), yum. Worth checking out. Loads of people over 35 on that site.

theres someone for everyone out there!!
I dont agree with that statement you mentioned at all! I think more and more people are actually single or not in serious relationships until early to mid thirties now.
Ten years ago yeah it would have been fairly agreeable that there would be trouble finding someone at the age of 35 but not anymore!
If you even trawl through dating sites - youll see that there are LOADS of people all mid to even late thirties that are single and looking or romance! xx

I dont think thats true. Admittedly after 35 the person you meet may well have more personal baggage but there is always someone out there for everyone - just gotta keep looking.

That is close to my question that I put on here..love stops knocking at 50. But sometimes people say you can find love just put yourself in the picture. Go out to praties, or gatherings and met people.

I would say, it is trueish. Possibly not as unlikely as a lightning strike. But still awfully remote.
