My husbands mother is a freak she thinks that all of her children a witches. I got alon with her for years until she rang at christmas time last year and wanted us to pick up presents for uor children she was very rude to me on the phone so I did not go over and I did not make a big deal out of it. She now thinks I am a withch and a vowed to never speek to me again. Is she nuts or what. Is she really that crazy that she will give up her grandchildren?

Apparently so, I personally would send a "spell" to her and push her completely over the edge.

I had a bad experience with mine last christmas too, i had my baby daughter just before christmas and she supposedly came to help and all she and my dad in law did was hang out at the malls, eat out, watch movies, she behaved like a teenager out to party and after a C section I lay there caring for a newborn for the first time. In fact I did stairs and bending and all the chores, today 10 months later I have severe backaches, so my verdict is that your mother in law is as crazy as they come. I too have cut off, my husband is obviously in touch coz they are his parents and I never say anything about that, regarding their granddaughter - I mail them pics and updates every 2 weeks but then I also CC the same to my family, so they are up to date but no special treatment.

Sounds to me like she is crazy or could there be another issue that is the real problem, we often think mother in laws are mad, does she think that maybe you have taken her son away from her or that you are trying to take her grandchildren away, give it time and give her plently of space and wait and see what happens.

Witches??? How did you manage to get along with her for so long ? Seriously though, it sounds like she has mental problems and is a very sick woman...just out of curiosity, what does she consider her grandchildren to be?

People have no concern for other peoples well being or feeling now days. She may also be having a mental issue. If you believe she is acting strange have her committed. She may also be crying out for attention.
