I've had a couple of dreams where I've known I was dreaming, but then I've woken up straight away! I want to know how to make myself have lucid dreams, and then how to stay asleep when I have them!

Try to think a lot of times in lucid dreams during the day. It works to me.
And think about that: If you doubt if you are in a dream or it's the reality then you are in a dream. That is the most helpfull to have a lot of oportunities.

To stay asleep is a question of practice.
Try it a lot of times and you will get it.

I think the most dificult to me is to do what I want in the dream and to get it for a long time. It's easy to forget you are in a dream in a while.

Good luck. Lucid dreamer.

Think about it all the time so the chances are you will remember while you are dreaming and then you will know you are dreaming. To stay lucid is very hard, because once you realize you get excited and wake up(at least me).Just keep practicing and eventually you will manage.

Perhaps you can try a sedative to help you sleep. You can find something over the counter at your local pharmacy.
