usually when it gets approved, you wait 4-10 months.
patience or positive attitude is the key. you can email them for info, but dont hassel them because they keep everything anyone sends them.

Our petition was approved on Jan 31,2006 ... the interview was in Morocco March 07, 2006. My best advice is to be prepared for it ...no matter when it is . Depending on which consulate, it could be a month , or it could be 6 months. I would make sure you have EVERYTHING ready for this important event. Follow your guide they give you in the packet your fiance receives. It explains everything in detail. Be on time ...and prepared to wait to be called. Make sure your fiance knows your past, present and future inside and out ! It can take 10 minutes or up to an hour...depending on the case ,and the CO! Good Luck !! (-;

Where is your interview supposed to take place. They shoud have a website with interview dates and times. Please find this out asap. If you miss this interview it will take you a long time to get it rescheduled. If there was an immigration attorney involved he can tell you exactly where and the time your interview will take place. Each country has a place assigned for interviews. Like for Russia and Uzbekistan those interviews take place at the American embassy in Moscow. Send me an email and maybe I can help you find out where your interview is.
