I need some advice, I've been dating this new guy for three weeks, and things were going great. He told me he was falling in love with me and then two days later asks in an email if he could charge $600 dollars to my credit card and then pay me back in the next two months. I freaked out. It was for a kit for his motorcyle, and not really an emergency, but he wanted to save a couple hundred dollars... Should I be concerned about dating him?? when he asks for that much money that soon in a relationship?

Run, how dare him ask you for money...Tell him to bite your assets and find a new guy who has his own money...You'll be sorry if you do this.....

if you have been dating for only 3 weeks and he is asking for money, that is a red flag. he is just after your money and that all. No man/woman shoud never ask His/her boyfriend/girlfriend for money in the first year. he is a leach, don't give him the money you will not see it. If you do give it to him make sure that you have a contract, in detail when The date he get the money, and when he is going to give it back, when he does not. you can take him to small claims court, make sure you have a lawyer to draw up the contract. if he does not sign the contract, No money honey.

hell yes, you should be concerned.
if he was decent he wouldn't even think of asking you.
why don't he get a loan?? if he got a loan it would help increase his credit rate. he sounds fishy to me.
if you do decide to loan him money, make sure you get everything on paper and have witnesses that can verify everything.
if he says you don't really love him because you don't trust him then you will know immediately that somethings not right and DON'T loan him anything.
if i were you i would suggest to him getting a loan from the bank.
remember if he has a fit or tries to make you feel guilty then he's up to no good.

good luck.

I'd have to say NO because he has already maxed out the Federal Government's credit. I'd have to say that he would be a bad credit risk. He might 'say' that he'd pay it back but I wouldn't take that promise to the bank!

well just ask yourself, will you be pissed off if he didint pay you back and broke up after a few months... i know its a bad scenario to think about, but i have been in the same situation then wanted to kick myself in the head after, and it wasnt close to 600 bucks that i gave him. maybe you should suggest he get a credit card him self, then he'll have it for future purposes.

Love is the answer to everything. All you ever need is love,
communication and understanding. That's what I figured out so
far. If you are down, you need to get up and start doing something with
your life. Don't need to be shy, be straight forward and allways say what
you want and expect from the others.

Hell yeah, I'd be worried. He's asking for that much money after 3 weeks? Sounds like he is just using you for money. Dump his poor *** and tell him to get a job!!

Yes you should be very concerned. Thinking that you should end that relationship quickly. Just my opinion.
