As so many others have pointed out, Windsor Lad (1931 bay colt by Blandford out of Resplendent) won the 1934 Epsom Derby. He was owned by HH Maharaja of Rajpipla; ridden by C Smirke and trained by Marcus Marsh. His winning time was 2mins 34s.

The 1934 Irish Derby was a dead-heat between Patriot King and Primero.

Just for good measure, the 1934 Kentucky Derby was won by Cavalcade; ridden by Mark Garner and trained by Bob Smith.
