The only true, correct, untouched book of God on Earth right now is the Holy Qur'an. You can look through the 700 versions of the Bible on the planet right now and never find the whole truth... because God revealed another book to correct the man-made changes in the previous books. Because He sent down the Qur'an, He allowed the previous ones to fall into disrepair.

Now you know the truth. You can't say you didn't know.

The Bible has already been interpreted and explained. Do you know where we got the Bible? The Catholic Church gave birth to the Bible, not the other way around. The Catholic Church not only gave birth to the Bible, but interpreted it and explained it. See any annotated Catholic version. The footnotes explain what is going on.

The oldest version of the Christian Bible is the Latin Vulgate which was a translation of the original scrolls into the common language of the people, Latin. That was later translated into English in the Rheims-Douay version still available today from Tan Publishers Rockford, IL. The King James Version came after the Protestant Reformation and leaves out parts of the Old Testament. It is not annotated leaving interpretation to the inspiration of the individual reader. Which led to further division among Christianity when not every reader could agree on what 'the Bible said.'

Yes anybody can understand what the Bible says by doing exegesis. This is done by first understanding the historical context it was written in, the author was writing to a particular person, church or ethnic group. You should look for who the author was Paul or Luke etc. why he was writing the letter, what point was he trying to make.Ask your self is the author writing about something that has to do with local customs or is it an eternal principal, something for all believers for all times.Once you have come to a conclusion find out if the the rest of the Bible agrees with you, if it does not you need to go over the text again.

There are tens of thousand of Christian denominations, all claiming to know and understand the Bible but yet teaching different things.

There's only one Church that claims authority on the Bible and it's the same Church that put together the canon of the Bible, it is the Catholic Church. Go to the Catholic Bibles, like the Douay Rheims, or the New American Revised Bibles because they contain all the books (the protestants ones omit the deutoro-canonical books). Just look at all the errors in the other versions of the Bible.

The KJV or NKJV are two of the more strict translation of the original texts vs some others that interpret rather than translate.

Here is a nice link about which versions are closer to a strict translation than others. Check the chart in the middle of the page.

On interpreting the Bible, I recommend prayer and allowing the Bible to interpret itself. Your pastor and some others in your church should also help to explain questions you may have.

there are many such people on earth..... anything that is written creates a duality..... that is why you cannot buy wisdom..... you will have to figure it out yourself...... because the answers are within your head..... the clues are within/outside your body..... in nature..... the day you yourself dont have any doubts in your own interpretation.... you will know the true interpretation..... to ask questions is good.... what do you think those stories mean? are you convinvced with your interpretation? no ... then try and figure it out..... asking people .... reading books will only confuse you.... search for your God... the one who is inside of you..... Good luck
