The carpet is a very pale pink. The walls are presently mauve. What would you suggest for a nice change?

A very, very pale pink flat paint on the walls (you will need to do two coats) and a lightish medium pink semi-gloss for the trim.

I think that you should off set the colors with a light brown. Then use a darker pink & a chocolate brown to accent the walls. You could tie all the colors together with pillows and curtains, and may be an area rug. Make all the trim of the walls white. If you can't find pillows & curtains with those colors you can always go to the fabric store, (they are like $1.00 a yard). The whole thing with paint should be like $50 - You can even stripe the wall like every 2 ft with the accent colors from your fabrics.

How about pink, white and teal blue in large vertical stripes. This would be real cute with white trim. Accent with a flowered print and stripes for the bed linen.

your room should reflect your personality, show what you want others to see about yourself or let whoever enters it know what kind of person you are. if you're calm and cool, go with some blue in your room. if you're wild or spicy, go with red. are you the sweet kind of girl? then i'd recomend light pink or light pink-violet. if you're simple then paint walls white and let wooden furnitures show their true colors. warning: too much colors are just plain tacky (but if you have split personalities, that's okay because, like your room, your head's CHOATIC!).

I think u should paint ur bedroom light blue,green or pink.i would suggest u to change ur carpet colour or no carpet at all.u can also choose ur fav. colour in lilac and light and pearly shades.

go to the web under color your world/ color visualizer. they give you rooms to choose and you get to paint them, you can even change colors of the carpet or floors, its really a lot of fun. good luck

i think ocean blue kinda color wud be really nice on walls.

for a light shade opt for cream colour and if you want a dark shade violet would look splendid....
