which do you prefer? and why??

I like tesco better its great for food easier to find stuff and good deals on dvds cd's etc. Asdas is ok but they always move their products all the time and i can't find anything i know this is down to get people to buy different things but it really annoys me cause i like to get in and out of the store quickly as possible.

Asda is much cheaper but you do get what you pay for. I find the quality of food at tesco in general to be better so I shop at tesco now instead of Asda.

Tesco - I like their Finest Range. Sainsburys is really my favourite but you asked us to vote between Asda and Tesco and out of the two of them I much prefer Tesco.

Both shops have there merits they both have different deals on at the same time I do like Asda for certain items but for my weekly shop I go to Tesco they have a good range of items and more value items.

Tesco I prefer their vegetarian selection to ASDA's. Quality seems better, not by much obviously.

Asda is nearer to me although I prefer Tesco because they have more choice. Asda is inredibly cheap but I do worry about their employment policies ie workers' rights because I know they've had union and salary issues in the US under Wal-Mart.

Depends on the size of the store - Asda home dept is really good near me. Tesco's does my car insurance!!!

Tesco for cat food and meat, other than that i go to morrisons. I dont like asda, only go there if i cant be bothered to drive, as its only down the road.

definitely tesco.
prices are similar however own brand foods are much better quality and they usually have lots of buy one get one frees & half prices while asda has just a few. plus you can earn points in tesco which after time makes a bit of difference.

I'm not a snob, but Asda food is so cheap so as far as I'm concerned what goes into it must be pure sh*t. If i go there its only to by their clothes or brand foods like Heinz or something like that. Tesco is still quite cheap but their own brand tastes much better. If i had the money I'd do my shopping in Marks and Spencer, now i am sounding like a snob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
