Remember, Allah is most merciful. I believe your prayer would be accepted, in whatever you have to wear, but why not cover yourself with a sheet? Just wrap it over yourself like an Iranian chador - just like a giant hijab scarf. I'll be fine for prayer, and in fact, I keep one (a chador, not a sheet) near my door for in case someone comes knocking unexpectedly, so I can be covered modestly.

Edit: will you be home before the end of fajr time? Don't pray in front of other people with your skin exposed, but do whatever you can to avoid missing the prayer.

I am 5'4" and 125 lbs. I have some extra clothes, including some that are too short for me. If these sizes will fit you, send me an email and we can discuss. Also, its pretty easy to sew a long tunic.

In order to get answers for such things, you have to read Qura'n with its meaning and understand the Author well. Try to learn how to read in between lines and you will know what a verse in Quran really means. Understanding our creator is very much important. Allah is our creator and he can easily understand our limitations, so when you have in a situation that doesnt complete the basic things to do the namaz, and you have no choice, it is better you do the prayers and try to do something when you face the same thing next day. One time mistake or errros will be forgiven but always remember not to repeat it. Correct your things next time. Allah is Arhamu rahimeen and he knows everything about his creatures, he dont want us to be troubled, love Allah and he will love you back a million times.

Thank you for this question.

You do not say if you are praying alone or at the masjid. If you are alone then pray as you are. If you were thinking of going to the majid like that, then do not go, pray at home.

Do you need assistance buying clothing? Talk to the Imam of your local masjid they usually have a fund for brothers and sisters who are in need. Do not let pride keep you from seeking help where Allah has provided it, such as from the masjid.

And Allah knows best.

Peace and blessings,

Salim

if u have a towel or sheets or something then pray in it. but also see to it that u are alone -- since u cant display ur body to others -- men or women. if u dont have even those, then pray in what u have, but never miss a pray -- it is an oppurtunity for u to talk with Allah. and ask Him to help u. Allah will look at ur heart and deeds not at ur attire.

i asked my mum this question and she asked me to tell ya that if, when you bend, your back is exposed, then firstly, being a muslim girl, you have no right to wear these kinds of shirts and secondly, your prayer is not counted when wearing such a shirt and it is even a sin i think to pray in such clothes! Anyway,my advice to you is to do the prayer later on when you are wearing other clothes and yeah, avoid wearing such shirts (this one's mum's advice coz i wear these kinds of shirts too)...

Assalaamu alaikum ukhtee please remember to bring appropriate clothes for praying in next time, if you cant wear it all the time. The prayer has conditions and those conditions must be fulfilled. May Allah make it easy for you, aameen

If you cant make salah in what you are wearing then you should not be wearing it in the first place. unless of course you were sleeping in it or something like that. I dont think the salah would be acceptable. rather get dressed properly later and make khatha.

Pray sister --- just go somewhere no one could see you. Maybe even sit on a chair and pray so you won't expose your back.
