This is a fantastic question, really.
For me, the toughest part of life is just coming to terms with the fact that some people just suck.
I like to try to believe the best in people. And I do believe that most people are generally good. But when I see people just taking advantage of others, or making ridiculous excuses for otherwise disgusting behavior (e.g. shooting little girls in a one-room schoolhouse in PA, or the congressman who sent explicit e-mails to young boys and then checked into rehab as though that's justification somehow) - it just breaks my heart.

1. growing up. 2. relationships 3. school/work/career
as you grow older, you have to learn new skills, absorb more knowledge, you have to be able to adapt and cope well with change, you have new responsibilities. i'm still a teen, and its difficult enough as it is, and i know its going to be alot harder in the future, trying to juggle school work, family connections and manage our social life is pretty tough. growing up, that means leaving behind all the little simple things that matter, you're older so you have to focus on other important things, no time for childish games and so forth. relationships...friendships is sorta a challenge like almost day, friends are like your 2nd family, they're your support system, without them you'd be lost. but because everyone is different and unique etc, different values and personalities, and they clash. which will result in little stupid tantrums and fights, actions left unforgiven, words left unsaid, memories long forgotten, wounds left scarred on someone......life is tough, and everyone knows that.

I work hard for the things I want, but they never seem to go my way! Everyone around me has experienced the love at first sight thing, but I can't seem to last with anyone beyond a few dates. Oh, life can be frustrating!!!
